I think that instead of fighting they would fall in love and go to Connecticut and get married.

I'm going to say Beach-Head would win. I really think so. Here's why....
Both men are excellent combatants, and excellent soldiers. Both men are highly trained with a lot of combat experience. However, the Punisher often deals with civilian enemies like drug lords, gang bangers, etc. Beach-Head fights a well organized, well trained, well equiped, professional terrorist army that recruits elite ex-military soldiers of high caliber. So while the Punisher is certainly good, the caliber of his enemies have probably dulled his edge a bit... plus he lives a few steps above homeless... what's his training regimine, his diet, etc ??? Beach-Head is fit, well nurished, and stays razor sharp because his enemy is razor sharp. That give him the edge. Beach-Head beats the Punisher... though it would be a great battle. Over the next decade the punisher would be shown fighting virtually every known criminal organization including the Italian Mafia, the Russian Mafia, the Japanese Yakuza, the Colombian and Mexican drug cartels, the Aryan Brotherhood, the Chinese Triads, Jamaican Yardies, the Irish Mob, biker gangs, street gangs, gunrunning militias, muggers, killers, rapists, psychopaths, violent racists, sadists, pedophiles, and corrupt city officials. He also assaults criminal business enterprises such as drugs, weapons smuggling, money laundering and human trafficking. Due to the Punisher's homicidal nature, few of his foes became recurring antagonists, the most notable of these being the severely scarred enforcer Jigsaw. The Punisher also acquired a nemesis in the form of the Kingpin[17], a longtime Spider-Man and Daredevil foe, and developed enmity with Daredevil himself, who likewise abhorred and fought against the Punisher's brutal methods. Villains such as the Jackal, Bushwacker, Doctor Doom[18], The Reavers and Bullseye would be used to provide more of a challenge for the character. In addition, heroes such as Spider-Man, Captain America, Daredevil, Ghost Rider[19], The Hulk, Wolverine [20], Nick Fury, and Moon Knight[21] would appear |

Caliber of his enemies? He's fought Wolverine, Dare Devil, The Reavers...

Surely my friend, Cold Slither, is above that. ;) Look, I guess I just think Cobra is a lot tougher than the Mob in any country. They're an international army - uniforms, training camps, the whole nine yards - of terrorists. They recruit the disenfranchized and moraless of the military elite from all over the world. They are equiped by M.A.R.S. - the most highly advanced weapons manufacturer on the planet. Granted it takes a suspention of belief, but Cobra is the world's greatest threat to freedom and life itself. Other than Cancer and AIDS, the biggest threat to life on earth is probably COBRA. So, fighting the Yakuza or the Russian Mob is tough... but fighting through 12 city blocks of Cobra Alley Vipers is insane. Fighting Daredevil in Hell's Kitchen or Wolverine in New York is tough, but taking on an Armored Troop of Crimson Guardsmen... that's a real war. Is the Punisher tough? Absolutely. The man's an amazing warrior. But Beach-Head is a precision instrument. He's a professional soldier of the highest caliber. Beach-Head is going to win.

He's been up against plenty of well trained special forces, ex-special forces, mercenaries...hell, he blew up a whole Island full of guys that could be fodder for Cobra.
He's been hunted and up against small armies. He retrieved a little girl from a heavily guarded misile silo in Russia. He was hunted by a group of hand picked spec ops by a cabal of Generals in the Military and came out on top. Without even having to kill them. I don't see how Beach Head is any more professional than Frank Castle. His base of operations are mobile. He has plenty of safe houses, warehouses, and hide outs through out the city. His arsenal almost limitless due to his contacts and resources. We're not talking about Bernard Goetz here. |

Firefly vs Punisher is a pretty good match up, too.

The punisher would kill any opposer. He is a man without scruples or remorse.
He can't be bargained or reasoned with, he won't stop until you're dead.
