I just mentioned this in a post about lucky finds.
Does anyone else have one? And how cool is this toy? I managed to find one about 2 years ago 100% minty in a house clean out. Mine is the Alpha-27 distinction, so if you have a Delta-49 we can drive ours at the same time. I wish this specific toy would have stuck around longer so it would be easier to find on secondary markets. |

I love it. I wish the guns and missiles weren't orange, but I really loved playing with it. It goes so fast. I thought it was gonna break when I accidentally drove it into a wall...haha. I wish I still had one.

I wish the way to secure a guy to the back was better than just pegs, because you hit a bump and he flies off, and I don't wanna make any alterations other than tying him on with string, to keep him secure.
Some dude has Rumbler (the driver, with his gun and file card) for $165 on ebay, which i think is crazy. |

I got my Rumbler for $5 cause they had an overstock of them released at one of the conventions. He didn't have a helmet, but the Acc Pack Crankcase helmet fit the requirement perfectly. Since he was a vehicle driver, I didn't care that he didn't have his gun. I remember seeing these in beat up boxes on clearance up here in Canada. For some unknown reason, I never got it. I think it's cause it wasn't in the cartoon...haha.

I've seen him in sale bins people skip him. he's not worth it. 165, even with all his stuff and filecard. That will be on ebay forever. Besides, Clutch is driving mine, and it's like I don't even technically need Rumbler. My default drivers have always been: Clutch Crankcase Cross Country Steeler Special Note: DTC Cover-Girl drives all the Motorcycles. Rumbler, just grumbles from the bench. Had one as a kid,and would love to snag another.I remember thinking how fast it was.If I ever(which I doubt)see it on E-bay I may try to snag one.I don't think I have ever even seen one on the bay, come to think of it. I don't peruse the bay every day but at least a couple times a week, and I can't recall ever seeing one.

They are wicked cool.
I bought the Alpha and Delta back in Deember and we had running them around the house. I kept one and sold the other as well as both the Rumbler figures. The price for that one on Ebay is a bit off but if it is complete with the FC and CORRECT helmet, it will easily sell for $100+ (mine did) |
