So, I was at a toy show a couple of weekends ago at the Village Gate here in Rochester. I always get there early and make a couple of rounds of the tables both upstairs and down stairs. Anyway, I was on my last trip through the upstairs I saw a box of joe vehicles (APC, ammo dump, ASP) sitting part way underneath a seller's table. I asked to take a look at the box, and the guy said sure, and that he had picked it up the day before at another show, and hadn't had time to go through it, but I was more than welcome too. As he hands me the box, i see that its is nested in another box. I look through the first box, nothing in there I needed, but when I pulled the top box off of the bottom I nearly shit my pants. There in all its glory sat a C.A.T. I had never seen one in real life. I already knew at that moment I was going to buy it and when I asked the guy how much he said $30.00, I countered with $20.00 and he came back at $25. I said deal and happily walked away with my very own C.A.T. And here is the best part. It is complete. .50 cal tip, tow hook unbroken, battery cover. It is a little dusty, but it's now on my list of things to clean this spring. The only down part about it was that the batteries had been left in the battery compartment and had corroded the terminals, but I have a donor MOBAT so I can fix that. I cant believe it. I know its a long post just to say I bought a C.A.T. but I never thought I would get one complete, let alone so cheap. I will post pics when I get home. ( In NJ for the ARMY.)
