I was the opposite. I collected Star Wars first and just dabbled in Joe's during the relaunch(JvsC, VvsV, Spytroops), but whem the 25th line came about and I got a few, I knew I would collect Joe's as equally as Star Wars as well with the new Marvel 3 3/4 line. But I dabble in other scales too.

single card joes only for me.....
all joes for my 8 year old, and starwars (mostly grievous) for my 12 year old.... that pretty much wipes me out

For the past few years I've only collected Joes, but I picked up six of the Transformers: Alternators, and I couldn't resist grabbing Unicron and Primus for cheap off ebay (a bit pricey now).
Joes are the only figures I keep MOC. I dig the packaging of the comic packs and single cards, plus I think they look better on display this way than taking them out. Vehicles however I'll take out of the box. I have misc. japanese figures like Golgo 13, Fist of the North Star, Devil May Cry Revoltech, Gamera, and my precious Robotech Masterpiece VF-1J I also got a big storage bin of misc. 1:6 stuff and many unfinished projects. I collect way too many toys for a grown man.
I have the majority of the 25th joes (minus variants and pd destros), I'm a big super-hero guy so I plan on getting all of the marvel figs, and I've picked sparingly at the DCIH, WWE, Star Wars, and Indy figs recently in the past two years. That doesn't include the bins in my basement filled with Sigma Six, Marvel Legends, and DC Universe figs. Thank god I've already found a wife who accepts my plastic problem . |

up until very recently, i collected Joes exclusively. with the release of the Marvel Universe 3.75" figures, i have decided to expand a bit, as marvel superheroes were my second love as a kid.
