The original flash back in 83 I think. I remember it well. Snake eyes soon followed. It wasnt long until my star wars figures played the dead guys as my joes ran over them in the mud. I got the snake eyes sunglasses soon after and thought I was the shit.

Although they were X-Mas gifts, Tripwire and the M.O.B.A.T. with Steeler were my first Joe figures I ever got in 1983. I think the first one I ever bought with my own allowance was either Zandar or Zarana in 1986.

I remember in 83 there was a HUGE Joe Clearance at Sav-On. My mom got me one of each figure they had (all of the Straight arm stuff, and some 83 figures) and the Dragonfly and Mobat.
