I received Breaker and Snake-Eyes (both straight-arm versions) as gifts in '82, but I have no idea what the first figure I actually bought was.

Straight-arm Clutch and the VAMP in 1982. Saved my money for about 4 months to come up with the $8, and then mom was kind enough to cover the tax for me... After that I kept searching for Flash, but ended up with Short-Fuze to ride shotgun...that was about a month later. Got a Cobra and a Cobra Trooper and HAL with Grand-Slam that Christmas. 1982 was a good year!

first one I remember personally buying was Muskrat. told folks I wanted the "green one" when asked if they could help look @ toysrus. sure that helped them......

First ones I remember receiving were Airtight and Dusty when I was a wee one. . .some of the earliest that I remember buying were Roadblock (1986) and the Cobra-La team from the Children's Palace.

first joes i bouhgt was in like 99 2000 at a walmart, i came accrossed em on accident and was like wow gi joes.. before that all my joes as a kid were either bought for me, or stolen..
