We're going to NY Comic-Con this Saturday (to meet larry Hama!) and my girl is wearing her Baroness outfit. We were wondering what sort of weapons are allowed. I say she needs a (toy) sidearm but she's scared she'll get in trouble.

Make sure toy guns in glock or nickel have orange cap on barrel or if guns are neon colored they'll allow it.

The police and politicians in New York have lost all common sense when it comes to weapons (both real and fake) in NYC. In most other locales I think you would be okay with a fake weapon, but I would not take my chances there.
