Has Gung Ho ever used any other weapon besides a grenade launcher?
-why is it that when in the Marvel Comics or the cartoon, Cobra got all the fancy weaponry and outfits for soldiers like Frag Vipers, Tele Vipers, SAW Vipers and yet GI Joe got diddly squat? Who was more in charge? Flagg, Hawk or the government? What did Cobra Commander wear more in either the cartoon or the 1980s-1990s Marvel Comic? the hood or the helmet? |

Idont know The jugglers> hawk or Flagg. Flagg was in charge until assassination.

I'd go with Hawk. In the cartoon he wore the chrome helmet more. In the comic he wore the hood more often. |

Resolute part 10 should answer you Gung Ho question
Cobra got all the cool stuff because they didn't have to deal with budget cuts, plus they had Destro.

I recall seeing Gung Ho use a different gun in the comics...but I believe he was swinging it like a bat, rather than shooting it.
And Destro took care of all the advanced weaponry for Cobra. He probably saw them as a walking advertisement. And Hawk was the man. He had dirt on everybody. |

In the Marvel run, Gung Ho used his grenade launcher most of the time, but in issue #13 he used a captured AK-47 and in #39 he used a .45 in addition to his launcher. Cobra has more advanced weaponry due to Destro/MARS and (probably) being funded by terrorist groups and governments around the world. Hawk had dirt on many people, and knew how to manipulate things to get what he wanted.
