I'd dress up as 87 Law(no Order). Cause evry party needs a little Law & Order.

I'd go as "da Viper"
Very easy to make that costume. You could play pin the sword on the ninja. Put all your TV's in one room with different Joe DVD's playing to make a "HQ control room." Or have your friends bring a TV and DVD player if you don't have a lot of TV's. Have the damn party if everyone is up to it!!!

Common, you know half the people on the Tank are always looking for an excuse to dress up as one of their favorite GI Joe's or Cobra's.
If you friends are into it then I say go for it. If I lived by you I would go. ;o) |

I agree with this. I don't cos-play. But that has a lot to do with a 2X red flight suit would set me back $350. Let me loose the weight and get to a weight that I could use the flight suit whenever I am logging flight time and then I'll make the investment.

I would go! Heck, I even thought of actually dressing up and doing a laser tag match of Joes vs Cobras.
Do it! Aren't you guys going to themed parties anyway, why not do your oen theme when you're hosting it? |

Have the party, don't let some people's comments keep you from partying and having fun the way you want to. I would dress as Dusty Version 1.

Has anyone had one before? My wife wants to have a Dr. Who theme party, and I'm going to a Firefly (Joss Whedon series) theme birthday party this weekend. It got me thinking that I'd like to throw a GI Joe theme party since most of my friends are 30-somethings who grew up watching the cartoon. Has anyone done this before? I'd like to go as Firefly, and since my wife has long red hair, she could go as Scarlett.
Anyway, thought it'd be a cool thing to do. If nothing else, what would you guys go as if you went to one? |
