A MAJOR CONTROVERSY!!! Are Ebay sellers good or bad??? Here is the obvious.

They are great for posting the newest figures on eBay if the latest releases have not gotten to your area yet. Yet, they are bad for the local collectors who can’t get the figures because Ebay sellers buy everything up in stores.

How do eBay sellers effect you???

I so far am having a very positive experience with ebay sellers. I have gotten a lot of nice deals on ebay, especially on items I have not been able to find locally, and in picking up the one or two figures I am interested in without buying a multi pack.

Look If people are willing to pay for something and it's allowing others to earn a living it's ok. Not that i totally agree with hoarding but what can you di.

The Good - Selling vintage stuff that you are going to have a tough time buying. The brand new stuff that has been released yet.

The Bad - The scalpers... buying stuff from your local Target/TRU/Wal-Mart...

The Gray - Great to buy some of the new stuff that you couldn't find at a store... but is the reason why you didn't find it at the store because of the scalpers selling them on ebay?

ebay is cool, sometimes i can find just a single part or accessory that i want for a custom. usually at a pretty good price too. you can find pieces to your vintage vehicles also. there is starting to be a lot of customs on there as well, but i make my own. if i dont get a job soon ill have to sell every gi joe i have, so ill put it on ebay. i think it is pretty good. scalpers wont last forever after the joe craze is gone they will be too

I generally don't buy on Ebay and haven't sold anything on there in years so it doesn't matter to me one way or the other. If I had to pick a side though I'd say, can you really blame a seller when buyers are willing to pay outrageous prices for an action figure.
