I'm just curious if anybody has a preference on which era they enjoy playing with the most? Maybe give some reasons why/why not?

7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. 8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.

Vintage, simply because in my lifetime, I have played with them.
Granted, my girlfriend accuses me of playing with the 25th figures, but they more or less stand around in badass poses on a shelf and I'll repose them every so often, but there's not much battling going on anymore... Now if I had a kid, we'd have a room built to be our Joe room, and I very well could lose my job and be okay with it just to stay home and play Joes all day long. Haha. Now, if I had the 25th Joes when I was 6-10, then yeah, 25th. The classics still have them beat with play value though, simply due to all the hours that I have spent as a child playing with GI Joes. |

I find that the 25th editions hold better poses and their weapons more realistically than the older joes.

While I do agree with both of these points, some of the 25th figs have trouble keeping their weapons in their hands sometimes. That's once big annoyance for me.

My suggestion, but a little bit of sticky tack (you know, the blue stuff that teachers use to put up posters) and put a tiny bit in the palm of their hand and press the weapon in. They will pretty much never drop it after that (at least not unless you're putting it in and out a lot and then you just need re-blob the tack). |

The O ring makes it extremly easy to portray motion so I like orig better, not as good for just posing though. For instance if you wanted to make someone look like they were getting blown back by and explosion... ARAH you can bend the body nearly in half and it looks like he is getting owned. 25th you will be able to point the feet to try to help but in the end it will not be as good because he cant bend as far in the chest area.

Unfortunately I don't really play with any of them anymore, although when I do customs my girlfriend calls it "dressing G.I. Joes", she's a freaking comedian I swear.
