So far, the poll is indicating that Disney would start a new one.

It would be busy as usual. We've seen how much interaction Hasbro has with the Club (which isn't very much) and Disney would have even less. Busy as usual. |

I honestly like the Club, They try hard and give us a lot of great figures despite their communication and past payment issues. I hope that they go on for a long time. I have met & talked with most of the Club employees and they are very passionate as well as understanding for a small business.

Case in point, I got my last dinner plan upgraded a full two levels for Free due to a booking issue. That would have cost me an extra 2 grand almost onto the trip cost just to make sure that I was satisfied and happy. My family ate like friggin kings for 1 week at Disney. Glory to the Mouse and their service minions.

Their frequent visitor clubs, childrens clubs, online forums and clubs are all run at peak efficiency with a high focus on customer service and customer satisfaction. FunPub cannot hold a candle to some of the things the Disney clubs do and will do for their customers.

The poll results still show that fans think that Disney will start a new one if they were to take over.

Personally, I think the Club does a bang-up job with the limited resources it has. It helps that the GI Joe collector community is relatively small. If Disney were to buy Hasbro, my assumption would be that Hasbro would more or less be able to continue as an independent entity... maybe with some strategic-level guidance and veto power, sure, but it ain't exactly broke, and Disney knows that. The most drastic potential change would be that Hasbro could do everything bigger and better - and a bigger and better approach to GI Joe is something I'm not sure the Club could handle. Even though I believe they're not really effectively changing with the times, the Club is still giving us - for the most part - some pretty awesome exclusive figures we couldn't get otherwise. I'm not sure we'd get that with a Disney-enabled GI Joe club. We'd get some exclusives, sure - and quite possibly better ones (think more along the lines of a SDCC figure, with very few to no reused parts) - but I'm not sure we'd get nearly as many. A fifteen-figure set with several other figures and vehicles each year is pretty awesome.

if Disney owns the G.I. Joe license i will teleport myself with the M.A.S.S device to the disney HQ and puke in their ceo's pants pocket repeatedly until they surrender all rights back to their respective owners. if G.I Joe is licensed by disney i have complete faith that it will be blown to pieces and figuratively shot in the head just like cobra commander. in short- disney is to G.I Joe as "chuckles" is to cobra commander... in summation they will be its murderer.

Well seeing as Disney is NOT wanting to buy Hasbro, nothing will happen. This is now starting to get stupid. Disney has no intrest in Hasbro.
