Thank you for posting that! Brought some memories back there... that's what a lot of the Christmases were like for me back in the 80's.
And who cares if the mom bent the cards...? Who cares what characters they were! Did you see the excitement on those kids faces? And then there's this kid... Interesting. Seemed like this video was more a Hasbro made sales pitch. I remember unwrapping my Terrordrome on the same morning this kid did. After the screaming ended... I didn't open another thing until it was put together and all my Cobras were covering it. |

My wife and I made a commitment to NO video games for Christmas this year. The kids might not like it but I'm determined and convinced it's time for my 8 and 7 year old boys to learn how to play with toys....so there's about $500 worth of 25th anniversary stuff under the tree. I know that might make you collectors cringe....but a toy's not a toy unless it's played with! |

That's awesome! I bet the parents have AFA graded figures locked in a safe somewhere.. to be handed down to the children when they reach maturity.

that was one funny video. i wish i had recordings like that. i have no doubt that i would of said "prepare to die" or "joe will finally pay, cobraaa"! at some point with all the weaponary i recieved.
