SE v1 ejected from the Skystriker and fell off the seat about 20 feet above some concrete. His Left arm snapped off and was never found. I used playdoo as a replacement arm for a while but finally gave him a military burial in the garden. He is probably still there wrapped in a small desktop-sized American flag.

Watching the JOES as they made the Bataan Death March to the end of the driveway for our infamous "your too old for toys" yard sale. We did keep all our Masters of the Universe though.

Hmm, when I was living on Ft. Polk we had a storm culvert down at the bottom of the slopes between the houses. With the rocks and water it looked like the falls in First Blood Part II. Sgt. Slaughter ended up much like that Vietnamese officer.
Otherwise I don't recall too many Joe deaths. I know a Tomahawk "crashed" into a tree. |

Many Joes and Cobras were lost in Desert Warfare. Sandboxes and the local sand piles swallowed up many souls. One Hydrofoil and crew were lost at the bottom of a marshy pond. Later, Dreaknok blowtorches (hairspray+match), disfigured and killed many of the less desirable Joes.

While playing joes during recess, my airborne ejected out of my skystriker and a gust of wind took him, chute and all to the top of a tree in the school parking lot. All week we had the nuns mad at us cause we kept chucking rocks at him to try and save him. Four months later, a strong cold front came through over night and we never saw him again.

My brother lost Backblast from 2005 Winter Operations set. Probably for the better, we thought his filecard meant he was an helicopter pilot. Opps.
Besides that, we haven't destroyed any joes other than broken o-rings and crotches.

Hahhah I'd forgotten about all of those! My brother and I definitely performed experiments "in the name of science" on at least a half dozen of our Joes.

1st casualty....vintage major bludd...his t hook broke...i was literally in tears till my "mechanical whiz" dad came home and saw the damage.the next day he designed some t hooks out of brass wire of the same thickness as that of the original, and soldered a brass hook in the middle... lost my dad in 2000 but major bludd still continues to serve the cobra forces with his bionic transplant.
