My favorite personal G.I. Joe-related event of '08 was getting a friend hopelessly hooked on the line. About two months ago, I gave him Breaker and the RAM Cycle (I only bought that set for the Flight Pod and Tele-Viper), and a few days after that I gave him an extra carded v29 Snake-Eyes (he'd mentioned to me that the v2 Snake-Eyes was his absolute favorite figure as a kid) that I had. Before that, he'd only ever bought action figures for his young son - but now he's hooked on Modern Era Joes, and he's bought about twenty single figures and three DVD five-packs for himself. Mwahaha! >;D
My second-favorite personal G.I. Joe-related event of '08 hasn't happened yet. But it will, soon, just as soon as my Eel and Scrap-Iron arrive in the mail this week - 'cause then I'll have every Modern Era Cobra character released to date. So - what are your favorite G.I. Joe moments of '08? |

My youngest son is now a Joe fan!! Every now and then we get my whole collection and his out and the house becomes a war zone. Getting to share this with him is great. He is by far my best Joe playmate ever.

I would have to say either.... when I found ParaViper at the wallmart surrounded by Wave 9 trash, he looked like a diamond in the mud, or When I got like 10 ARAH figures in the mail and they all rocked! Both were amazing.

When my Joes were featured on CNN.com
When my wife finally accepted GI Joe and is currently helping me get everything and anything I want. (She even mentioned we could start looking for a FLAGG, Terror Drome or Defiant!!!!)

My son (5) really digs the GI Joe stuff since he's old enough to care.
