Howdy folks! I just found you all and decided I wanted to join.
I hope you do not mind my introduction. I am Darryl. I am 50 yrs old live in Utah with my wonderful wife and little boy. I have 3 children total with 4 grandchildren. I served in the US Air Force for over 23 years. I played with GI Joe in the late 60's early 70's with my brother. I am ashamed to admit we broke every single Joe we had. (hanging head down.) Just recently purchased 3 Joes off of ebay and so far winning the bids on 2 more. I would love to know if there are any books or something to help me know a good deal or not. Or at the very least would you good people give me advice? Hope to make lots of friends here. Darryl Last edited by PappyRoot; 09-16-2012 at 12:57 AM.. Reason: wrong wording |

I was able to get talking Duke which I gave to my 9 year old now he is hooked. And then I won a bid on a lot of 2 Airman. One of which is a Tuskagee Airman and one is a Jet Pilot. I won the Airman for $13.38 and Duke for $7.49. As far as the small Joes I am not so sure I can get into them. The originals bring back so many wonderful memories. |
