I've always pulled for the underdog. I guess that's why I'm a fan of Cobra. That being said, joes are better than Cobras. They would have to be in order for Cobra to be considered the underdog. The Joes are the best of the best in discipline, skill, and judgement. Cobra will take any two bit lowlife and use them to the grave; and that's not always a long journey.Joes only come from the creme of the crop, so by default I would have to say, hands down, G.I. Joe is better than Cobra. no question.

General Clayton Abernathy v COBRA Commander?
Charisma - Cobra Commander It would take a tremendous degree of charisma to bring about an organization like Cobra and keep it functioning reasonably well. I doubt Hawk would inspire a worldwide movement anytime soon, and while he has more than enough charisma to do the job, G.I. Joe would function reasonably well with just about anyone in command, due to the discipline and professionalism of its' members. Command Presence - Clayton Abernathy Hawk is a real battlefield leader. Cobra Commander too often comes across as a coward/sissy when things get physical (even if he's proven quite competent in a fight several times). Serpentor and Destro both have demonstrated superior command presence to the Commander. Organizational Skills - Cobra Commander I think it's safe to say that Cobra is a much larger and more complex organization than G.I. Joe, and Hawk didn't even create G.I. Joe...Generals Flagg and Austin did. Still, Hawk did oversee the team as it hugely expanded, so he's not without organizational skills...Cobra Commander just likely excels at them. Ability to Inspire Loyality and Keep Morale High Clayton Abernathy Linked heavily with "respect" below, but Cobra as a whole doesn't seem to foster loyalty so much as greed and ambition. That having been said, Cobra's morale does generally seem to be pretty good, so Cobra Commander must be doing SOMETHING right. Respect from the troops under his command Clayton Abernathy This one Hawk wins by a huge margin. People under Cobra Commander's lead constantly try to manipulate or overthrow him for their own personal gain. People under Hawk's lead...follow. Who Better Inflitration Skills? Firefly v Quick Kick Firefly His whole job is sneaking into places (to sabotage them). Quick Kick is a martial artist and stuntman, but while he may be a "silent weapons" specialist, he just isn't gonna measure up to Firefly. Heck, even on the Joe team there are better infiltrators. [b]Who's the better intelligence officer?[/b} Scarlett v The Baroness Scarlett This is pretty close to a tie, but I'll base my decision on fact that most of the time Cobra doesn't even know where G.I. Joe's base is, and the Joes generally seem to have much more information on their enemies than their enemies have on them. Better at Covert Ops Lady Jaye v Zartan Zartan He just has too many advantages and skills in his favor. Not to mention experience. Lady Jaye v Zarana Lady Jaye I just can't really see Zarana as that much better. She's always felt "minor league" to me. Better Pilot Ace v Wild Weasal TIE Too close to call. Infantry Grunt v a COBRA Viper Grunt By their nature, Joes have to be better at their jobs than their non-named Cobra counterparts...otherwise Cobra would just kill them with superior numbers. Torpedo and Wet Suit v Eels Torpedo and Wet Suit - See above. The same "rules' hold for pretty much all the remaining matches. Artic Ops Snow Job and Iceberg v Snow Serpants Snow Job and Iceberg Unless there's a LOT of Snow Serpent Commuications Breaker and Dial Tone v Tele Vipers |

the answer to each is Wolverine. I have it on good authority that he is the best there is at what he does. So if he does it, he's the best.
Which i guess makes him the best eater, pooper, pisser, and breather of all time? Impressive. |
