Unlikely, if they sold in the 80s and were smaller than 11" by 14", as claimed (which I find unlikely as well, most comic art at the time was done on 11" x 17" paper and reduced for printing, like it is today).
Original comic art wasn't commanding much in the way of price back then, particularly if it was from a current book. There are exceptions, of course.
