I just bought some revision-card Joes to replace some rag-tag 25th foil cards I had. Do you think Wal-Mart would take the same Joe back on the 25th card with receit, even though I didn't buy that 25th card Joe from there?

As far as I know the barcode numbers on the revision figures match their 25th Anninversary foil carded counterparts. As long as the numbers match the receipt you shouldn't have a problem.

What if the 25th foil-card figures did not come from Wal-Mart?

All they look at is the bar code on the figures package and the one on the receipt.
They'll only know you didn't buy it there if you tell them...

Check the UPC on the figures if they match then Wal-Mart won't give you any hassle. They probably won't care even if the UPC's don't match up

Target on the other hand uses one code for all G.I. Joe single carded figures. That means you could buy 2 B.A.T.s from Target then go to Wal-mart and buy a Duke and Cobra Commander peg warmers and return them to Target with the same receipt you bought the B.A.T.s with and they wouldn't know a thing. I'm not telling you to do that though because there are members on this site who frown at that. In all actuallity since Target does not count each figure separately in their inventory then they really don't know what they have as far as characters are concerned. 30 Tiger Force Flints look the same in thier computers as would 30 of of any other figure, or a number of different figures for that matter. Many members stocked up on peg warming figures at Target when they were just $4.99 only to return them when newer figures come out and the prices are back to $7.99 or more. It really depends on what you morrals are because Target doesn't know the difference. I didn't do this myself, but I really don't see anything wrong with this practice because to me it's not fair that Targets here in NYC didn't have wave 10 for $4.99, we only had revision figures. Lucky members out on the West coast got wave 10 and even wave 11 for $4.99. That's why I don't see anything wrong with buying a set of wave 8 at 4.99 and then exchanging them for wave 10 or 11 when they come in just so you could get in on that sweet sale. A sale is no good to you when you already own all of the figures on the pegs. Some members will cry and complain about the fact that you are now putting peg warmers back on the pegs, but the stores could care less. Peg warmers end up getting discounted on clearance, sold to discount store chain, or sent back to the manufacturer for a credit. Those sent back toys usually get destroyed or recycled. This always reminds me about what Atari had to do back in the 80's with all of those "peg-warming" E.T. games that never sold. They ended up swallowing their loss and burying the cartidges in the desert. Sorry if I got off of topic here but I got bored.

You could return a newborn baby you don't want to wal-mart and they'd take that shit.

Not for as much as they used to, though. They made a roll-back recently on babies.
