I was just on Brian's toys.com and i noticed he has preorders for upcoming figures that aren't released now ,ok nothing strange about that ,but i noticed he has some of them are marked up ,why is that when they haven't even been released yet ..seems kind of wrong to overcharge for something that's isn't even on the market ?
Once the figures have been released i can understand how his company can get a feel for what is in demand or not and charge accordingly ,but this seems a bit silly to jack up the price of something you don't even have in your possession to sell ? I have ordered from Brians' toys a few times and have no complaints but it seems like he is getting a bit greedy ,and this will probably alienate some of his customers to shop elsewhere ,so i don't think it is a smart move in the long run . |

thats how he runs his show, and wave 13 is just starting to come out. he has every thing at a high price, and the people that dont know endup spending 10% more then they would at a wally world or target .

Well if that's how he runs his show i think he needs a good slap ,because i think it's stupid to charge so much for a product that isn't even out yet ..i think if more people looked around a bit before buying from him they would save quite a bit ,10% doesn't seem like a lot to some people but we are in recession right now so people are tightening their belts and not willing to shell out $14.99 for a preorder figure ..he needs to change with the times or else he will go out of business .

This is a free economy and you can choose what you want to charge...hence ebay...but if he chooses to set the price higher than the demand and no one buys it, the price will fall...supply and demand...basic reganomics!
