I was never thrilled with QK as a kid. He as dressed had limited use in a tactical scenario so he ended up in the PIT training other Joes in martial arts until Cobra attacked the PIT and he could fight. I thought the TRU version was a vast improvement but he needed footwear.

I'm sure if they go and make Roadblock a ninja, then it's only a matter of time before Quick Kick becomes one too.
I personally don't get they hype of all of this ninja busines. I'm not a kid and it's not marketed to me, but then again I never understood in the 1980's. Storm Shadow was tolerable and even Snake Eyes too. But when everyone on the team suddenly becomes a ninja, it's too much. Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow were hot commodity for the brand 25 years ago. But I don't understand the insistence to focus the attention on these two today with just the belief that they will be just as popular today as they were with our generation. Did we like them because they were ninjas? Or did we like them based off their backgrounds and who they were? Ninjas seem a relic of the past, going away with the last of the Ninja Turtles. There's a show now, American Ninja or something other, but where's the hype for ninjas for today?

i think the entire joe team should just be ninjas.
everybody likes ninjas, nobody can beat ninjas. ninjas sell. game of thrones should be changed to game of ninjas, then it will perform better in the ratings. the colts should not have drafted andrew luck to replace peyton manning, they should have gotten a ninja. the galaxy s3 should have been called the ninja, then there would be no question if it is better than the i phone. etc. Last edited by GI FLINT; 07-22-2012 at 12:22 PM.. |

BTW--I like SS and SE because they were ninjas, but for no greater reason than their background character build up via Hama and the Marvel comic series. I agree with you about all the other mail away arashikage diploma holders, though. ;)

I dunno about making ol' Mac a ninja....I think I like him as NOT a ninja, but rather just a Martial Arts Expert.

I'm kinda surprised he has never been billed as a ninja. Although nearly all the ninjas wear masks of some sort and Quick Kick never has so therefore he can't be a ninja. He's still very ninja like. I'm just surprised Hasbro has not dipped into the Ninja Force vault yet. Dojo, Tbang, Nunchuck, Bushido, you would think they'd been released since they are all about ninjas.

I recently purchased a MoC Firepower Rambo action figure. After opening him I was reading his file card and noticed he was fully trained in ninjutsu. What I'm getting at is maybe QK is a ninja, but just doesn't flaunt it.
