I collect G1 Transformers & always have to remove stickers from the boxes. Most stickers come off nice & easily with a hot air dryer & some Goo Gone. But if you have KB or Sears stickers FORGET IT!!! KB & Sears stickers become permanently fused to the box/card. I've learned to avoid boxes with KB & Sears stickers. I LOVE Toys R Us stickers, they're the easiest to remove.
That's about all I can tell you. You need a hot air dryer & Goo-Gone. And forget about removing KB or Sears stickers. |

Use a hobby heat gun. That works perfectly. If goo is left behind, you can use little bit of Goo Gone to remove it. Apply the Goo Gone on a piece of napkin not directly. I can usually remove it just with the heat gun.

I've removed some vintage stickers off some 80's joes successfully before, but i'll tell you what, you need patience and lots of it! Also, I've noticed that age does affect the sticker actually sticking to the card a little harder. The longer it's on there, the harder it is to get off.
