How much is too much? I've been asking myself the same question over and over since I missed out on the non-attending Oktober Guard set... Selling off other stuff from my collection to bolster the paypal account for what I'm going to have to pay for it. I don't even want to think about it. I typically am fairly cheap when it comes to figures, but I've wanted the Oktober Guard since I was a kid and I can't say no...

If I have to stop and think, "Can I afford this?" then it's too much.
Most I've paid for a single figure has been around $500, though it's currently worth more than that. I have very few pieces that are worth less than I originally paid for them, so I look at them as more of an investment than just money spent. I don't collect many vehicles anymore, no room to store/display anymore. |
