Just because I 1/2 remember reading something 2 years ago that was erroneous to begin with does not mean I know all there is to know about making action figures, distributing them, making movies and/or TV shows.
And liking GI Joe, having a GED and a job at walmart does not make me more qualified to run Hasbro than the people currently doing so.

But I personally know folks who buy whatever they find on the pegs just to have it, even if it's not really a troop building-type figure. I understand their enthusiasm, but something about that doesn't sit right with me.

1. I don't like the Drednoks. 2. While the Sunbow cartoon was great back in the day, I find it to be cheesy now, and would rather watch Resolute or Renegades. 3. I hate Cobra La. 4. I'm okay with RoC. 5. I'm moderately okay with limited articulation on some of the Retaliation figs. 6. I don't have nor do I want a Flagg. 7. I don't care for ninjas. 8. I sometimes listen to Justin Bieber's song "Baby,Baby".

I never had a problem with S6. I wasn't collecting at the time, but I remember seeing these at WM and I tight they looked pretty cool. The size is probably what kept me from biting. But it's visibility is what kept me looking at the toy aisle which paved the way for me to spot the 25th when they were released. I actually owned a S6 Duke that I got free with other purchases at tru, and I liked it.

The art in Renegades is quite amazing!
I don't want realism in the G.I. Joe line.

Right on, man. I picked up the first two sets of the newer Sunbow DVD releases...and stopped watching about halfway through the first collection. The first two 5-parters aren't actually that bad, but the show takes a horrible nosedive after Ron Friedman's initial run.

I think RoC had a lot of awesome figures.
I think the Flagg is a giant waste of space (or a glorified coffee table depending on how you want to look at it). I think G.I. Joe should still be aimed primarily at kids, and that Hasbro should continue doing whatever they have to do to capture that market again, even if it means deviating further from ARAH or ditching ARAH altogether. |

Mine would be: I actually like Cobra La. There is a place for everything in the GI Joe universe. And I love how IDW actually brought those aspects into the current comic universe... it really worked. |
