I work in D.C. so while I was waiting for my train home, I decided to cross the street and check out the Air and Space Museum for a couple minutes. That's where I saw this super accurate model of the USS Enterprise. It's obvious what it reminded me of and I just wanted to share it with you guys. It took the guy like 3 years to build this. Cool isn't it?

Yes, yes it does. This was my inspiration to build a bigger carrier.
I know they have a large carrier model in Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry but this is definately the one I remember. Thanks for putting it up, the pictures are great. |

Don't mention it. I'm going to have to look up that one in Chicago now though.

every aircraft carrier tends to, by nature of its existence, remind me of the flagg.

I envy that you work in DC. I love that area.

Any Tanker out there a math wiz? Try to figure out how large the Flagg would be if the F-14's on this model and the Skystriker were of equal scale...In other words, an real-world accurate Flagg.
