In a recent Q&A Hasbro said they will not be getting to Zarana or Zandar beacuse there are too many roster members to get to.
Isn't Zarana a main character and there fore very important? I can understand them not remaking Zandar(even though he's awesome) but Zarana was a key player in both the Comic and Cartoon. And she's hot as hell. Who else is outraged that we won't be getting her?

I'll take Hasbro saying we won't get Zartan's siblings with a grain of bs. Hasbro said the same thing about Snow Serpent and we got him. Plus, Hasbro already made a moked up custom of Zarana. How many customs have they made that we are now getting in the future? Plus they've made 3 of the other important Dreadnoks (not including Zartan). With these two being Zartan's brother and sister, how could Hasbro NOT think they were important roles?

We get all these crap repaints and who-gives-a-f@&$ figures but no more Noks? Like I said - bs.

I hope we see more Dreadnoks in the future as well as them. I have hope that maybe someday we will see them. But I really want a Thrasher and Thunder Machine.

I think since we've gotten the new Swamp Zartan, or whatever he's called, we'll be at least getting a Zandar pretty soonish. Hasbro loves to get the most use possible out of each tool, and that Zartan's whole upper body looks like it could be reused to make Zandar. They might even be able to use the upper arms on a Zarana, if they don't look too thick.

Plus, Zarana's in the new Beachead/Mainframe comic. Lots of characters they make an appearance in those comics show up as figures later on (Tripwire, Tunnel Rat, Night Creepers)

Simply put...hasbro wants to give us what they THINK, not know, THNK we want and don't TRULY listen when we all start shouting GIVE US NOKS! instead of crap box sets(like that truly unneccesary greatest battles dvd WTFFFFF?!!!) use that wasted plastic to make something worth a damn, like more noks. do we REALLY need more dukes ccs se's and ss's? really?!!

Maybe Hasbro realizes that the Dreadnoks were a stupid concept full of idiotic, annoying characters that should be wiped out of the Joe mythos forever?

Or maybe they were just blowing smoke so as not to reveal too much of what's in the pipeline.

Or maybe they didn't want to waste resources on the tooling for those two at this time, when there are other more important characters that require new tooling as well. And thus, characters like the dipshit duo will have to wait until new tooling funds are available (after the movie, I would imagine).


I'm guessing it's one of the latter two options. But I'd certainly be happy with the first option.
