One of the Action Figure Lines I collect outside of G.I. Joe is Revoltech Figures. The articulation and detail is way beyond anyother Toy Company that produces figures. Action figures in the Revoltech series are well known for the flexibility of their joints and their figure’s balance. Each action figure allows the user a level of creativity as the figures can be taken apart limb by limb and grouped back together to form a new character.
My question to the G.I. Joe Fan's: Would you be willing to pay $25-$30 Each for Revoltech Body Style G.I. Joe's? Hasbro already has a working relationship with Revoltech via Transformers. So this is just a test to see what people would think if Revoltech was given the green light to produce Joes. The articulation, weapons, gear and detail would be mind blowing at this scale. Lets face it most of us are adults and want more out of the Hobby, so would you support it?

If you say no,then you hate G.I.Joe. Sadly Revoltech is mostly a Japanese thing and G.I.Joe is mostly an American thing.

True, I'll cross my fingers but I'm not going to hold my breath.

I voted 'no' on this one. I like G.I.joe, but adding a 'mid-size' figure line just isn't for me. I've got 2 revoltech Transformers (optimus and megatron) and they're pretty cool, but they're too expensive for what they are. (importing costs a ton on these I imagine)

Wouldn't Revlotech have gotten their Transformers license from Takara not Hasbro? Not sure to what extent Hasbro would be in on Takara's domestic deals with the Transformers brand.
Anyway I like Revoltech, but I am only interested in GI Joes in the 4' scale. so it's a no for me.

HELL NO! $4.99 is too high for a Joe figure! No way I'll pay $20-$30.

An even better idea.....
RAH styled figures using the 8" (sigma figure) concept. |
