Nice. Is that quote from issue #155? (Which I think is the best issue of the Joe series, absolutely love it).
Both of 'em look great. Holistic medicine? I know what it is, but how'd yo ucome up with that for Snake-Eyes?

The holistic medicine thing was mentioned on Snake Eyes' original 1982 filecard.

Yup, it's an abridged portion of Snake-Eyes' letter to Wade Collins' son. And the middle portion of the filecard was lifted wholesale from the 1982 filecard.

Good job Zuludelta. Snake-Eyes is my favorite character in the JOEverse.

Love #155, best issue. Was disappointed that that one didn't make the Best of Hama TPB.

So I'm running into a big ol' problem with the base. I'm trying to keep it as security-tight as I can, no large gates or anything like that. But then that means getting supplies in and out is pretty tough. Airlifting is one way, but driving a tractor trailer in won't happen.
The roads are fairly wide, 30', normal road is 24 or so. But the turns are tight, no smooth turns. The idea is to make vehicles go slow. So gettnig around isn't easy or fun, and it's not supposed to be. So how do I get the normal everyday supplies in? Office supplies (printer ink, file folders, pens, etc..) and food, along with the misc. entertainment stuff? A tractor trailer full of stuff is also a major security risk. So now I'm thinking of a warehouse building outside the main gate. All deliveries are unloaded into the warehouse and they are then systemically searched and cataloged inside the warehouse. So anyone trying to sneak something in is caught before it even has a chance to get thru the main gate. Then stuff is moved from the warehouse to the main buildings by smaller box trucks.

How many gates are you planning on having leading into the base?

The Warehouse is not a bad idea. You probably need one of these: Smiths Detection - HCVS |

The idea is to control where an assault would take place. For Cobra to assault the base, they'd have to get vehicles thru the wall. So you either take the gate, or blow a hole thru the wall at one point or multiple. Taking the gate is no easy task, and if you do take it and get vehicles on the road, it's designed to prevent easy movement thru the base. For example, as soon as you enter the base there are set of the bollards to get over, once over/thru those you go down the main road about 100-150' feet and it takes a sharp right hand turn, the problem is that you're 10' down and rise up the 10' to the main elevation. Once you're up that 10' you have to take another sharp turn to the left. The road is only 30' long, so won't be able to get more then 2 vehicles side by side and turning is impossible with 2 vehicles side by side. So now you're talking about moving a column thru single file with a 10' wall that people can be shooting down at you from. So you blow thru the wall. Now you have 40' on the outside of the wall and 40' on the inside of the way of completely bare "no-man's land" to get thru. No cover at all for 80'. The inside-base 40' is mined in no discernable pattern. No way to figure out the "safe" routes thru it. Then there's the "moat". A 15' (only wide enough for one vehicle) driving road that circles the compound. I'm debating how deep to make this. Right now I have sections at 10' deep. So once over the No-Man's Land you have to get over this 5 or 10 deep, 15' wide, "canyon".
