Nice. The next one I add will definitely be using one of those names. Probably Warrior One since I have Devil Dog already.

I'm starting to like the idea of Mameluke for a Marine Officer. But I dunno the origins arent American its from the Tripoli leadership honoring the Marines. Any pros or cons about that?

Could a Star Wars Comic pack of Naval Uniform 'Deena Shan' without a bun, painted black hair to become Molly, a female Marine. What MOS' are open to female Marines, again?

'Smasher's right. Just about every combat support and combat service support job is open to females in the USMC. Only ones they are strictly prevented from joining are the ones associated with infantry, field artillery, and armor (tank and assault amphibious vehicles). They even have female combat aviators (unlike the Army, which prohibits females from piloting attack helicopters), albeit they're somewhat rare... the only one I can think of off the top of my head is Capt. Venice Armour, a female AH-1 pilot who was awarded the Air Medal (strike/flight) a few years back.

Venice Armour, now if that's not a military name...

I need some names for foreign operatives.
I'm "stealing" some from Zulu. Need a good name for the Abel Shaz Breaker, who will be Abel Shaz. Need a good name for: Danish Huntsman/Ranger The Huntsman/Ranger Corps (Danish Army Special Forces) Danish Combat Swimmer or Finnish Combat Swimmer The Frogman Corps (Danish Navy Special Operations Combat Swimmers) Taistelusukeltajat (Finnish Navy Combat Swimmers) Finnish Utti Ranger, going to be a Scout Skier Utti Jaeger Regiment/Utti Huntsman (a.k.a. Ranger) Regiment (sort of like the Finnish equivalent to the US Army's Ranger Training Brigade) Thanks to Z for the links. I like Z's concept of nationalizing the codenames. Gorkij for Gorky, etc..

One way to quickly come up with a neat "foreign Joe" name is to just pick an ARAH Joe or vehcile whose codename you like and whose design might be reminiscent of your new Joe, and then translate it into that Joe's native language. Makes it sound unique whilst still keeping the tone of the Joe codenames of old (and avoiding corny and somewhat give-away and unimaginative codenames like "Skymate" or "Big Ben"). Just make sure you have the gender right (in many European and some Asian languages, certain nouns and adjectives -- even ones not associated with people -- are assigned genders).
