Yeah I love the way this makes so much sense for the Joes. It sort of doesn't make room for all the Joe Heavy Equipment, but that has always been an issue. I mean how many tanks does JSOC have in it's collective arsenal?
Steeler should have been more of a Battle Force 2000 team leader with a few experimental vehicles and Grand-Slam, Flash, maybe Short-Fuze. Although The Sheridan Tank that the MOBAT is based off of is a light air-Dropable tank, so there could be mission specific uses for such a weapon. Although I bet the Armadillo is better suited for the task. Fighter Jets is another problem.

Although I bet the Armadillo is better suited for the task. Fighter Jets is another problem. My set up for the Joes is based on this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Task_Force_121 They did actually have Armor assigned to them, so I figure the Joes can have them as well. This unit was also commanded by a brigadier general. The joes do not officially have figher jets assigned to them, but Hawk does have an Air Liason Officer at his TOC. They are frequently assisted by Ace's Air Wing "the Aggressors" when needed. Again, my organization changes all the time. I also have customs or figures for most of "A Squadron". This has been heavily influenced by a lot of you in this thread and some other joe sites. I throw in some new characters (customs) here and there. I've given some joes promotions where I think it makes sense (notably Flint to Major): NCTC Director Joseph Colton Director – National Counter Terrorism Center Lawrence J. Flagg III Deputy Director – National Counter Terrorism Center OPERATIONAL COMMAND STAFF Major General Clayton “Hawk” Abernathy Task Force Commanding Officer Admiral Everett “Keel-Haul” Colby (Naval Liaison) Colonel Dexter “Mustang” Sharp Commander, Air Operations (Air Force Liaison) Colonel Cliff Mewett Operations Officer - Administration, Supply and Logistics HEADQUARTERS SUPPORT STAFF Sparks Tactical Operations Center – NCOIC Doc Chief Medical Officer Mainframe Cyber Warfare Division Lead / Computer Specialist Psyche Out Psychological Operations (PSYOP) / Chief Interrogator Firewall Information Retrieval / Senior Cyber Analyst Airtight CBRN NCO Matt Trakker (Civilian) Research & Development TASK FORCE ORGANIZATION & STRUCTURE The Task Force is split into three operational squadrons (75 operators each and additional support staff) following a one year rotation. One squadron is active during a six month rotation, followed by three months of leave and then three months of training before going active again. SQUADRON LEADERS A Squadron: Major Dashiell “Flint” Faireborn Squadron Commander Conrad “Duke” Hauser Command Sergeant Major B Squadron: Major David “Barrage” Vennemeyer Squadron Commander John Edward “Altitude” Jones Command Sergeant Major C Squadron: Major Terrence “Gridiron” Lydon Squadron Commander Charles “Spectre” Hamilton Command Master Chief Petty Officer |

My Joe team is split up a few ways. AFO Recon Teams (6-8 members), Assault teams (12 members) and then Support units (Intelligence, Air Force Special Tactics, CBRN etc. The Steel Brigade acts as a Security force / QRF.
UNIT MEMBER OVERVIEW Beyond the previous military training recruited members have already completed, all field unit members go through the “Joe Operator Course”. They are trained to a high level of proficiency in the use and tactical employment of an unusually wide degree of modern weaponry, explosive devices and firearms (foreign and domestic), hand to hand combat, high performance driving (on and off road), apprehension avoidance (including picking handcuffs and escaping from confinement), improvised explosive devices, military free fall parachuting, combat and commercial SCUBA and closed circuit diving, proficiency in foreign languages, entry operations and vehicle hot-wiring, Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE), extreme survival and wilderness training, combat EMS medical training, tactical communications and tracking. During certain missions, members will not carry any objects or clothing (e.g., military uniforms) that would associate them with the United States government. If they are compromised during these special missions, the government of the United States may deny all knowledge. A SQUADRON: AFO TEAMS AFO (Advanced Force Operations) teams operate in remote locations behind enemy lines to carry out direct action (including raids and sabotage), conduct espionage by HUMINT assets, counter-intelligence, guerrilla or unconventional warfare (UW), and hostage rescue missions. They often work in small teams, typically with six to eight operators, all with extensive military special operations expertise and specialized skills that do not exist in any other unit. These small strike teams can be quickly deployed and once on site, gather intelligence and set up forward operating encampments. At that time, other teams or members can deploy to the location to back up the advance team. These units may also act as High-Value Target (HVT) Tracker Teams, tasked with the deliberate identification, pursuit, and capture (or when required, neutralization) of senior or otherwise important enemy combatants. Each team has its core members; however other members can be added depending on mission requirements. RECON TEAM ALPHA (AFO* SWITCHBLADE) – JUNGLE, DESERT & URBAN Stalker Team Leader / Ranger Recondo Jungle Warfare Specialist / Operations Sergeant Tunnel Rat Machine Gunner / EOD Recoil Communications Sergeant / Recon Specialist Muskrat Jungle Warfare / Medic Spirit Tracker / Sniper RECON TEAM BRAVO (AFO* WOLF PACK) – JUNGLE & DESERT Captain Falcon Special Forces Officer / Team Leader Gung Ho Marine Recon / Grenadier / Operations Crosshair Sniper / Scout Outback Medical Sergeant / Survival Training Instructor Dial-Tone Communications Wreckage Demolitions Specialist / Engineer / Jungle Warfare Instructor RECON TEAM CHARLIE (AFO* BLACKBIRD) – JUNGLE & URBAN Beach Head Team Leader / Ranger Leatherneck Marine Recon Rock ‘n’ Roll Machine Gunner / Heavy Weapons Ripcord Airborne Infantry / Demolitions Low-Light Sniper Rampage Transportation / Communications RECON TEAM DELTA (AFO* MARAUDER) – DESERT & URBAN Capt. They are trained to perform hydrographic, coastal, ravine, and port & waterways reconnaissance, small craft navigation in inclement weather and underwater combat demolition. Nice. Are Squadrons "B" and "C" set up similarly under Barrage, and Grid-Iron. Would love to see those set ups.

ASSAULT FORCE UNITS
These units typically deploy once a target has been identified by one of the AFO Teams or Intelligence Units and conduct a raid on the target. They regularly train for a variety of missions including Hostage Rescue operations. Members of this team can also deploy with other teams if more firepower is needed or mission specialty is required. When one of the AFO teams are deployed, one of these teams are put on immediate alert and are normally only hours behind to provide support if needed.
