So in the Ranger Rankings (of training and toughness), we have 3 levels in the Joes. Level 1 - Basic Ranger Training (Muskrat, Tunnel Rat, Crankcase) Level 2 - Ranger + Recondo/Jungle (Stalker, Snake-Eyes, Sneak Peek, Wild Bill, Recondo) Level 3 - Ranger + Green Beret (Beach Head)

Thinking of Snake-Eyes timeline (from all the comics: Marvel, DDP and DDP's Declassified).
He's in 'Nam (Ranger Trained) Finds out family is killed after 'Nam Starts drinking Tommy comes and asks him to join family business, he rejects it. Meets Cobra Commander and does the rebel thing for a bit with CC Goes to Japan and joins the Ninja Clan Hard Master is killed Snake Eyes retreats to his cabin in the High Sierra Stalker and Hawk come to recruit him

Stalker was still in the military post-'Nam and still training/doing missions (as shown in Declassified where he met Hawk). So that's most likely when he received his extra training beyond Ranger/LRRP (what he got prior-'Nam deployment).
So when did SE receive all that rest of the training? Prior-'Nam? And if he did receive it prior to his deployment in 'Nam, what was such a highly-trained operative doing in a regular ol' (relatively speaking) LRRP patrol? Unless it was a Special Forces unit? If Stalker had gone through Special Forces school, they would have surely made mention of it in the file card or the comic, but there's no mention of it anywhere. He and Snake-Eyes were elite because they were Ranger/LRRPs. Now don't misunderstand me, I would love it if Hasbro announced Stalker was a Green Beret just like they did with Beach-Head. I wish they would remake his Tundra uniform, or his Battle Corps uniform as a 25th figure and mention that he's been through Special Forces School. There are few character adjustments that would make me happier. But there is no evidence for that. Even Roadblock has mitigating evidence in the comics. Even with Roadblock there is circumstantial evidence that he likely served in a Special Forces Team with Duke and Flint. If there were even that much for Stalker, I would say "Go for it". But there's just a total lack of evidence.

So is Gung-Ho a LRRP? He was obviously around during Nam and he went to Recondo and Airborne school.

That ends up being the real reason CC hires Zartan and Firefly to kill SE at the ninja compound.

Falcon is easily Ranger and Special Forces Qualified.
My question is still: Where do Low-Light and Spirit fit into this?

Yeah. It's right after SE gets back from 'Nam (or in DDP retcon, an unnamed conflict since they didn't want to date the characters to 'Nam and make 'em in their 50s). CC's brother was killed in the accident with SE's family and CC seeks SE out to help him "get back at the system". They start this little movement (stealing and protests kind of stuff) but where they give back to the poor and disenfranchised but with CC slowly being corrupted by the power. When CC and SE sneak into a judge's house, the same judge that somehow allowed the accident to happen, CC tries to get SE to kill the judge and SE refuses.
That ends up being the real reason CC hires Zartan and Firefly to kill SE at the ninja compound.
