I think your right Takedown.
So looking at the figures I have I was debating how to rename some of them. I like the Dojo Set, but can't say I Love Kamakura, but he's passible. Beachhead I will be renaming Sneak Peek. He's a Ranger, he dressed in mostly Gray, and really a real Recon guy would not be wearing Red or be slightly overweigth, so i Think this is a better incarnation for Sneak-Peek. Dojo Roadblock I will be using as Dojo from ninja Force. Both wear bald and with goatees. And a real E-8 in the military would not have a 2 foot long ponytail. He'll be more of an urban specialist. Retaliation trooper just looks like Master Chief. I think I'll use him as navy EOD specialist, and took the Mohawk extra head put it on Duke and call him Effects, as a 2nd EOD specialist. The one I still can't decide on is Zartan? |

So what would be some good code names for staff officers, like an S2 Intel Officer or S3 Ops officer? Any thoughts?

Bill from Accounting and Steve from HR.
Oh, you said code names: Fisc and Arbiter, respectively. |

Was it wrong for me to want the extra head of the GI JOE Trooper and put that on a Steel Brigade Trooper's body, just to call him Skidmark?
This probably wont work, but ROC t-shirt General Hawk I made into Sgt Savage, unsure if Savage would have worn a beret or if that was a foreign thing in WWII? I'm calling the Dojo Roadblock "SSgt Rock", Mouse will probably be D-Day, Might change my (Tollbooth) Speedmetal into Mouse, and Firefly's extra head into Tollbooth.

I'm pretty sure that only the English and maybe the French wore berets in WWII. The only American unit that might have worn them would be the 82nd Airborne, but I think that came later. Helmets and caps are the only headgear I've ever seen worn.

And some of our Army Ranger units and units from the OSS went through the British Commando Course and earned the Green Beret (like the won still worn by the Royal Marines). I dont think our Rangers really wore them too much, but some of our OSS guys might have worn them... they eventually became the basis for Army Special Forces adopting the "Green Beret" because the OSS eventually split and became the CIA and Army Special Forces.
