Buy minimates. Fairly inexpensive, very cool and don't take a lot of space, unless you go crazy with it. I love it.

I don't know, my collection needs a spark. Just kind of hit a brick wall and nothing is pulling me right now. Still trying to complete my vintage run from 82 to 94. Almost there, but that is getting very blah.......International stuff is just way to hard to track down, not to mention the cost. I didn't find a huge collection in about 2 months What do you guys do to get a spark?
When you find out the answer, let me know. If anyone has read my wantlist page, you can tell that I put myself waaaaaay out there, and still haven't had any help with it. I'm still trying to stay focused on it though. Thanks, Everett

I got into customizing pretty much for the same reason I got into sculpting and that was the companies were not making the product I wanted. Since I've started doing that I've begun looking at all my toys in a different light and as a result started collecting figures/vehicles to turn into something else. Keeps me busy while waiting for the next unattainable wave. But I can understand that customizing isn't something everyone likes to do, it can be pretty involved and time/money consuming.

I got outta customizing (something that really drove me back into buying joes in 2008) (aside basic kit bashes) for a similar reason. I started getting figures I made replaced by figures they finnaly made official releases of so I decided there wasnt many left I needed to make so I gave up customizeg lol...mostly becuase what i wanted to make required heavy scultping/casitn gskills...painting was enough a challeneg for me...not going there...
