Ever since the beginning of sumer, this has bothered me and hopefully someone can give me an answer. Sometimes I do buy my vintage mocs through ebay and most of the time the dealers would say that the accquired a large selection of vintage mocs/misb through real estate sale. I've always wondered how the hell can someone find a real estate auction that has toys in it because I would love to attend one and try to get some. I actually came sale by luck but was very dissapointed that day. It was a storage sale that I drove by and saw a manager put up a sign saying sale. When I pulled in, the manager and staff was taking stuff out of a storage unit that defaulted its monthly payments, when I saw a staff brought out this box that was opened, it was full of vintage mocs, I was soo happy and grabbed the box to take a look. Wow! Snake eyes, storm shadow, cobra commander, zartan, and many more was in it. When approached the manager with the box and said how much. Manager said 150 for everything in the box but there were 2 more boxes full of vintage toys mocs and misb. I said sold and whipped out my credit card. Manager said cash only. I thought shit, begged the manager to hold on to them for me for 20 min while I go to the bank and manager refused. I left and sped tothe bank and back, was soo pissed off that it was gone! To this day, it still bother me how the hell someone who claim to be a vintage dealer on ebay or at stores telling me that they manily got those toys off a real estate sale? How could I find a real estate sale that would actually have vintage toys and all? Can anyone help me answer those question?

It take a lot of time going to a lot of crappy sales with nothing. Every once in a while someone will get lucky. Look in a local auction guide and they usually list what type of items will be auctioned off or check online and in the local paper for garage sales. You have to remember, there is a lot of competition for that stuff out there and the early bird always gets the worm. You gotta do your research and plan ahead. Sure you may get lucky just stopping somewhere on the way home, as I have, but you never know. It also helps to ask people that are selling stuff if they have any old toys. Sometimes folks forget all about the stuff stored away in the attic or basement. Good luck in the future.
