maybe it was part of the IJ production line which has been canceled... either way, nice to see that now employee's in another country are just as fed up with our economy as we are. i doubt americans are going to care as much about lost chinese jobs as they are lost american jobs though... i'm not saying it matters less, just we all know how it's going to play out in the media here given the upcoming election, etc.
Raiders of the Lost Ark is the best Indiana Jones film, with Temple of Doom coming in a very close second place. Last Crusade was okay, but nowhere near as good as the first two films. Crystal Skeleton was horrible. Totally horrible. I never got the Temple of Doom figures, but I have the Raiders and Last Crusade stuff. Temple of Doom was clearly better than Last Crusade, but now I am stuck with the third rate instead of what I want? Total bullshit, Hasbro. Total bullshit. |

We always have a good side. There is no Star Wars movie next year or any big superhero movie next year except for Wolverine and the Punisher. All we have to look forward to is the GI Joe and Transformers flooding the toy aisles. As you all know, Hulk Iron Man, Batman and Star Wars account for about 60% of the 1 aisle we go down at Wal Mart. You take those toys off the shelf and WA LA... Joe Heaven !!
The new Punisher looks really gritty, but the new guy ain't Thomas Jane. What pisses me off is the fact that HTS raised all of their Joe prices to 7.99 today. But not a nanosecond before I scored 2 new BATs this morning at 6.99 each. Now every damn thing is 7.99, and they can kiss my butt if they think I am gonna order from them without a discount code of some sort. |

1. I guess that means no more LEAD in our Wild Bill painted figures?
2. What???? You mean the Trillions we have borrowed from them is not giving them enough interest to keep that sucker open? 3. That means there will be a lot more 8 year olds roaming the streets of Beijing! There you have it... my top 3 responses.

imagine what the price of Joes would be then if you had to employ thousands of workers at minimal wage instead of mere pennies on the dollar Chinese factory workers earn? if consumers are willing to put there money where their mouths are and pay double or triple the amount they are now, by all means, manufacture America. you do realize the reason we manufacture in China is because, even after shipping charges, it is still cheaper than doing so here.

Aww poor babies....blame America for everything. If it wasn't for our companies over there in the first place, they wouldn't even have had a job. Those companies should be here, but we want cheap labor, so we go there.
We just can't win. it's that old "kick the US while they are down" crap and I am sick of it. If we kept all our jobs/labor here, our economy would be stronger and we wouldn't have to hear the whining and pointed fingers. I do not feel bad in the least. Go America! |

I don't think so...the toy companies are paying more in transportation cost. Trust me we have to get off the high greed horse and start to level things out.

you know what I'm going to say, lets make the toys here, people need jobs, I'm tired of seeing every thing made in china or were ever they are, i got nothing bad against them, but all the major jobs are going over seas, that needs to stop. hell we need people to speak American not what ever language is out there. on the phone when we have a problem with some thing, lower the taxes and bring the jobs back, and are economy wont be in the shite hole its in,

If we're going to get high on the American cause, let me ask... What ever happen to A real American Hero logo on the cards?
Hasbro needs us to take a dip back and not buy up all their crap, which is what I'm slowly starting to do. That 25th Anniversary Optimus Prime did I want to buy it? Hell yeah, but not at 69.99 and that's Walmarts price. Also Lantern Lad made a good point, I think at 50.00 bucks I got ripped at the Lar's Homstead exclusive, I'm returning that shit tomorrow. -End transmission- |
