Let's see here, approximately 120 ME figures and vehicles, all loose, I'd say about 1k.

I just sold most of my collection. This was all the stuff from my youth and a lot of modern stuff. If you looked at the prices I paid when I was young, my parents paid, and considering the modern stuff I bought mostly on clearance.....I definetly profited. My killerwhale that had broken pieces....and I clearly stated that in the auction, went for $86 plus shipping. My childhood Joes sold for about a grand. I had the first 5 years and sold them in 3 chunks. I am not completly out of Joe collecting. I am just keeping the best version of each character and the modern are better than the vintage in the way I am looking for.
It did break my heart to sell the stuff, but I have a Star Wars room in my house and I had a Joe room in my basement. Something had to go. I did keep some troop builders....4 zombie vipers, 3 hazzard vipers, 6 of the latest cobra soldier. Still love the stuff just had to reduce. I am not done selling everything, but almost. I gave my friend the joe headquarters to customize for a sw clone base. I would have done better to sell in smaller chunks, but am happy with what I made. |

My collection is worth around $5,000 - $6,000 if I sold it today on E-Bay.

My collection is definitely not worth what I paid for originally.
