25th got me into Joe, period. Never really watched the cartoon until the Hub. Read the Marvel run of comics last year and loved it(for the most part).
I don't know enough to spout trivia about Skyduster or Widescope, but I know enough not to flip out when a Scottish guy is cast as Destro or when The Rock is cast as Roadblock(though people wanted him to play Gung-Ho, for some strange reason). |

It is just easier to sum it up as:
Lody and then everyone else. |

I'm the kind of fan that doesn't like being asked what type of fan I am.

I am somewhere in the middle. I have a pretty good knowledge of ARAH stuff and I like learning more and seeing neat items and others' collections. I like to see what other kinds of things people collect like foreign and whatnot and even different toylines and such.
I dont buy the new stuff because Im only about the ARAH, but its cool to see whats coming out. Ive been to a couple cons, I have quite a few T-shirts but no tattoos. I am proud of my hobby and my collection but I can also pull away and put on a mask of normalness pretty well and hide the nerd inside if I want to. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 = Max Joe-Geek, I probably teeter between a 7 and an 8. |

This explains me pretty well. I'm not a Joe expert, but I'm not exactly a newbie either. I collect what I enjoy and what brings me fond memories of my childhood. I consider myself more of a nostalgic person so I guess you could say I'm an average fan. |

I'm a Sci Fi/Comic Joe Fan. I loved the sci fi element in the cartoons and in Cobra in general, Love characters like Zartan/Raptor and some of my fave cartoon episodes are the ones others cringe at. However, I was also a follower of the comic both old and new and I like the realizim in that.
As far as my collecting goes though. I got back in with 25th. I dont like the O Rings anymore but I still like a lot of the old vehicles, however once I found customizing again, everything became fodder. I no longer really have a collection its all just parts for my artwork which I then sell.

I can only afford to be the lower end of the Joe geek spectrum. Can't afford the comics aside from the occasional collected editions, nor can I afford the vintage O-ring stuff - I have to be content with the dozen or so figures I still have left from way back when.
I don't do cons or exclusive figures, and rely heavily on what I can get at retail. I display my figures loose, and no longer army build. Much as I would love to collect the Sideshow pieces those are way beyond my means. |

HAHAHAHAAA!!!!!!!! That's awesome! If you are reading this thread you might be a Joe Geek! Great reply!
People that know me personally would probably rate me a level 10 Joe geek, but on this forum, i'd probably be a 7 to 8. Enjoy the hobby, have slowed down currently to collect at sale and bargain prices. Enjoy both vintage O Ring and modern figs. I appreciate some of the internet guys (dio comics, etc..) that mix the types of figures. They mix better than I thought they would....
