Why would decaption cut out the cpu? That would be too obvious, thinking in too human of terms...if a designer built em that way he didnt design it very well. I would have at least 6 redudant prcoessors (compensating for amputations of arms, hands, head, legs, heavy damage to the chest etc... throughout the entire body with a satellite link up that would allow it to instantly upload its self and then redownload to a closer undamaged model as a back up system so battle field intel will not be lost.

I think it mentions that their guidance systems are in their chest, and their armor is weak on their back, so your best bet might be to hit 'em from behind or use explosives.

But speaking in the terms of wild fantasy - sensory systems are most likely in the head, so that would in turn make it blind/deaf etc, rendering immobile or just easy to pluck down either way. |

Hit them in the chest plate with 308 caliber rounds or larger. I think A barret 50 cal. would work best. That or grenades.

Mass body trauma, rpg/antitank round to central mass. Precision fire to vital systems, EMP.
Designwise, i can't imagine the processor being anywhere other than the head. The torso looks like it would have to house the power supply, fuel supply, and ammo for whatever arm attachments it's packing. Not to mention massive wiring, heat exchangers and heat sinks, motive gears, transmission, etc. The head looks like it would pack sensors and CPU. Just speculating. |

I'm a big fan of the ongoing IDW run, and the last time the joes took a B.A.T. head on: it took an air strike to get it to stop moving... And that was after it killed several joes and wounded another in the process.
