The ones from the mid or late 1980s. I had one where you were as a rookie character called Brainstorm. The front cover had a Televiper

Are these like the teen novels about GI Joe from the 80's? I almost bought one on Amazon because apparently and I can't confirm this but in one of the novels it states that Zarana and Zandar are twins. I've heard this from one other person on this site. I can't remeber if they are the choose ur own adventure books or not though. Sorry if I'm odd topic but Ireally want someone to post the books covers and section where it says that the two siblings are twins. I personally do't believe they are and I personally asked Larry Hama that question at last Joe Con. and he said no, but it was more like a "no, (I can't really remember)" kind of answer. I have a friend on this site that has hinged her whole Joe universe to this idea. I don't know why she does but its way important to her. If anyone has these books and could post them I could start to put this odd little factoid/opinion question to bed. Thanks.
Oh and I'd love to do a GI Joe Choose ur own adventure. Someone should make one and somehow post it to this site.

They were awesome. I had like 4 of them, found at a thrift store. Read and re-read them sooo many times as a kid.

I remember the "Choose your own Adventure" books line in general,no Joe ones.
But this is in Australia where G.I.Joe is not as much of a popular culture genre. |

I'm not familiar, although I love choose your own adventure books. I read many but not Joe based.
Some of the non-licensed choose your own adventure books are being printed again. I keep meaning to pick one up. I find them hard to find in used book stores. I have never spotted a Joe themed book. It sounds awesome. |
