Who do all those Cobras fight? I guess they must fight each other just like they did in the cartoon sometimes, LOL! But seriously, I'm going to make myself a Black Widow when I get home today.

Welcome to the hobby. You are coming in at a slow patch where there isn't much on the shelves. It should pick up with the movie stuff in a few months.
One thing to note is that the newer figures are a bit taller than the classic figures, and as such they dont fit in all the classic vehicles. There are threads about that in the forums here, so you can check out find out what works and what requires some modification.

First of all...i am so sorry to have to tell you this but i believe in giving it to people straight
army building is a terminal illness that currently has no cure. Very few ever escape the clutches of plastic dependency. It's possible so i don't want to discourage you. There now that THAT'S out of the way...welcome to the Tank! a place where all of us addicts (and those in denial) interact. It's a magical place full of wonderful people who are all too eager to keep you infected...think of this place like "hotel california" (wow did i show my age?) now that said...with your endeavor are you collecting from here on only 25th/me/poc/30th? what about RoC? or the upcoming toys from the movie? anymore vintage? or any of the ones in between? (VvsV spytroops etc) I noticed in your pics it was vintage, so i was wondering if you were going to continue in that vein as well? as for corps figures...i personally pass on them (i have some but i swear they came with a collection i bought) the vehicles there are some rough gems to be had with a bit of paint applied. vintage vehicles...something i also army build in addition to modern (25th and up) figures...i have vintage figures but that's because i can't quite bring myself to give them up. as for star wars...it's a hot property for retailers to have given the amount of supporting media...i mean if gi joe had 6 core movies a multitude of video games a cartoon series that's getting better by the season and an absolute library of books and comics...we might see 2 linear feet of shelf space in all retailers...star wars is just too big to fail. I actually incorporate star wars vehicles into my cobra faction but that's just as an excuse to army build x wings and tie fighters ;) anyway welcome to the tank...please do not attempt to escape, we will find you |

Welcome to the 'Tank! Be prepared to zero out your bank account.
I haven't used Corps! figures to buff my collection, but I do use the Corps! vehicles. They're very solid and well designed. There are also other manufacturers that are making better proportioned figures for army building. Hasbro also puts out some good Marvel figures that are good for customizing or army building, as well.
