Except as has been noted with some small outrage here in the past few years...Hasbro very rarely refers to Cobra as "terrorist" anymore. More often they're called "a criminal organization."
So it seems that's their way around that. As for Headman...great idea for a subscription figure (though I highly, highly doubt he'll be the 13th), but I highly doubt Hasbro would remake him anytime soon. A drug-dealing villain is still relevant, but I'd say the tenor of the "Drug War" has changed to the point that most people realize you aren't going to stop it by throwing soldiers at the problem. Headman was basically a trailing-edge product of the "Just Say No"/D.A.R.E era. Nowadays, it's not even that drugs are "taboo" so much as the realization that about the only thing that keeps kids from trying them is good parenting, and sometimes even that's not enough....

I love this character, and have always thought it made perfect sense that Cobra had a drug dealer in its ranks. However, I think a drug-related toy in this day and age is too much of a potential PR problem. As such, I dont think this character will see the light of day, unless they retool his history. Or maybe as some type of exclusive. What do you guys think?

In all seriousness, I'd love to see them modernize the figures from the 2008 convention set. Even if you don't like the era, those figures look cool.

They should make him as an SDCC exclusive and do a matching My Little Pony at the same time. That would be totally rad.

No, no, no. It's not drugs that are taboo these days. It's telling kids not to do drugs that has become unpopular in our ass backwards modern society.

I never cared for the character, but I wouldn't mind seeing him in some kind of set of villains. Maybe some guys that don't fit the typical mold of Cobra mercenaries. Him, Raptor, Crystal Ball and maybe somebody new. Like some crazy hillbilly cult leader or something.
