I literally lost track. First the figures were $4.88 and now $7.99.
Unlike some 'Tankers' I buy nothing but G.I. Joe stuff. But I caved in and bought two Indiana Jones for $5.44 each because I got tired of seeing Joes I already had(for the past two months) and wanted to customize them into Cobra characters. But off the top of my head as of July '07 about $6000-$7000 and another $5000 in gas, good thing I started pre-ordering around Wave 6. Here's to another $2000 between now and Christmas.

40 or less on 25th line, thats 5 figs.... Snake eyes V3, Cobra trooper, Stalker, Snow Serpent, and BAT. Those are the only ones that looked like they were worth it to me.
About 30 bucks on ARAH I have gotten Flak Viper, Undertow, Footloose, Hawk, Storm Shadow v2 TRU repaint, Hit&Run, Snake Eyes V2, Dial Tone, and Backblast.... I also spent 12 bucks on Marauder weapons. Grand total of 82 bucks!! Woot!!! good Year so far.... I dont buy as much as yall, Im a college student.... also I go for bargains on ARAH figs cause I cant spend 10 bucks for a fig like the rest of the world.

Wow! Some of you guys spend a small fortune....You guys must be really passionate about the hobby. Though I wonder at what amount does it change from hobby to obsession? What do you guys think?
I buy one of each of wave and thats it So around 60*8 will be 480$. Plus 2 mighty muggs at around 12$ so 500$ for the year. I couldn't fathom 10000$. Some of you guys should display what $10000 gets you as it must be pretty awesome. |

I think between GI Joe 25th, Transformers, and Justice League Unlimited, easily $2000 out of pocket (not including another $2000 I spent from EBAY auctions of toys I sell to buy new toys). So $4000 a year total. This year has been pretty busy due to the 25th line. I think before that, I average about $1000 a year in toys.
Yeah, if we're counting everything I'd say $2000.00 with another five hundred to go. |

What kills me is the being a troop builder....and don't get me wrong I'm holding back. If I didn't have 2 kids, wife and a new newborn on the way. I would buy chit load more and make my whole house into a GI Joe battlefield...lol I only buy as many as I do cause I plan to build dioramas one day for them. That is how I prefer to display my collection instead on a shelf as I do now.
