Hell no. Walmart sucks when it comes to exclusives. Anybody ever seen a Starscream MPC cuz I sure did not.
Besides I got plenty of Targets around me and just 2 Walmarts in very far driving directions. I hope they don't get any exclusives whatsoever.

I think that Target is looked at as a department store that attracts a demographic different from Wal-Mart. Even my friend who is a manager a Target (his wife is a manager at Wal-Mart), has always made a comment about the stores attracting two different types of customers.
Target positioned themselves as a department store that carries big brands and even advertising-wise, to be hip and trendy. Wal-Mart has always promoted themselves as a store for better prices or "rollback prices". As for exclusives, the last time I went to Wal-Mart for exclusives were for Marvel Legends (Toy Biz) and Star Wars to get the infant Luke and Leia exclusives and my experience so far was that WM exclusives have been a pain in the arse, while Target I've been fortunate to get everything I'm looking for. In terms of GI Joe Modern Wave, I prefer to buy them in Wal-Mart because they are cheaper (heck, I'd buy them at K-Mart since they are much more cheaper than both...but they hardly get them in). |

Bernit.. the molds for the Skystriker were destroyed when funskool got them.. thus unless they have totally retooled and remolded a new Skystriker. Hasbro has stated that that perticular plane will never be released again. Just the same as there will never be a Flagg made again due to some of the molds are sitting at the bottom of the ocean in the ship that sunk carrying them over. : ([/QUOTE]
Damn funskool....At least we got the Night Boomer before that happened... Kind of Ironic about the Flagg molds man. You'd thing with todays laser technology, they could take a MISB, Flagg or Skystriker, do the unthinkable and open them up, scan in all the parts in a 3D format with the crazy programs and laser tech they have now days, and create a new mold that is just like the original. I saw a brief show a few years ago on making model cars and they did something like that to create a Hot Wheels sized car from a larger one. I'm not sure how it all works...It may be way to friggin expensive and may only work for certain things, but wouldn't it be cool?! |

3 of the 5 exclusives shouldn't have been (A.W.E. Striker w/ Crankcase, Rattler, and conquest), at least, the way they are. 1 of the upcoming vehicles could have been (A.W.E. striker w/ Leatherneck). I don't think it's too late for Wallies, but I DO think they need in soon.

i don't believe that's true; pretty sure the retailers approach Hasbro and request the exclusives.

OH Boy, time to enlighten my fellow tankers again, The FLAGG will return to store shelves, as will the Skystriker, (the Skystriker will be a VF-22 if memory serves me, not an F-14) The Flagg will not be a reissue, it's a complete new design, (check the U.S. copyright office, I found the new flagg toy copyright for the toy right there. So my friends, Please know the facts before you give out rumors, I welcome anyone to check my facts, cause I back them up before I give out intel, I hope you welcome this news, because another copyright caught my eye, it's called the Night Raven!

I hate to break it to you... A VF-22 is just NOT a Skystriker I don't care what hasbro wants to put on the box.

Now You Know......And Knowing "IS" Half The Battle! As for Wal-Marts getting exclusives, well that would depend on all of them carrying the product. I've read numerous times on here how people say their local Wally World no longer has a spot for Joes. So to me, that would mean they are not interested in stocking a product that could potentially sell. I'd rather we didn't have these exclusives. It just causes everyone to panic and creates a larger demand in the aftermarket than there really is. |
