My wife tolerates it, she's not thrilled that I will occasionally spend around 8 bucks a figure, more if bought outside of Wal Mart or Target. She's staying at home with our toddler, so while we're a one-income home I've had to miss out on a LOT of figures. I do make sure my family comes first and things like brakes on the car and dental work is covered.
I had to skip the Resolute 7 packs, same will go for the BBTS 7pks, forget about convention exclusives and the fan club figures. Too expensive. I will probably sit out on getting Airtight, Sci-Fi, Law&Order and Lifeline etc. (I did score a Techno Viper). But my wife is generally supportive when I ask if I can pick up a figure as she knows I don't complain about not getting my toys when the money is tight...she agreed to let me go out and get a Skystriker for my birthday a few months back - as long as I also picked up a toy for our 3yr old as well. It took some time but my family/wife/her parents accepted it, and now respect it, moreso the statues, they don't see eye to eye on my action figure addiction yet, but respect the display I have created.
Mainly if my bills are paid and I don't spend ALL my excess $ on toys/statues/dvd's it is ok with my wife and she has been getting used to my gameroom full of stuff and feels at home more with it all. |

If anyone considers my GF a loved one....than she too supports my hobby. She was the one who bought me a MOC Zarana, along with a case of beer.

Most of the time my wife tolerates them pretty well. She gets fed up with them if I spend too much money on them, or leave them out for awhile or spend excessive time on the hobby.
