I hire an illegal day laborer and pay him 5 cents a day. He works with a magnifying glass, an exacto knife, a Q-tip and sweat and tears. I usually turn up the heat to about 100 degrees so he doesn't get too comfortable (I don't want him milking his time for that nickel). If there's time left in the day I'll usually have him work in my garden or have him sing me songs.

I cut mine open along the bubble... why ruin the card art by tearing the bubble off? I've got knives in my car if I want to open them right away, but I usually just wait til I get home. Once I have new figures in hand, I'm not in a rush.

I Smash the package on my desk until either the figure breaks or the package opens. I'm currently in the process of reevaluating this method of opening single carded figures seeing as thus far it only has a 46.3% success rate for getting the figure out of the package. The other methods I'm looking into are
1. Shooting the package with 9mm 2. Shooting the package with Buckshot 3. Sanding the card down 4. Tieing the package between two horses and have them walk in opposite directions. 5. waiting for the glue to deteriorate 6. Kicking it 7. Punching it
