I was just thinking the other day how cool it would be if Hasbro released a limited run on some of the larger Joe vehicles, like the FLAGG, or Mobile Command Center, even a limited issue Terror Drome or Defiant would be awsome. Maybe like a limited to 5,000 or 10,000 run... but then again if the FLAGG cost $100 back in the 80's would that make it like $400 in todays market?
Ya they would be hard as hell to get, but man it would be a collectors dream if you managed to get ahold of one... and if you did, would you open it or store it in the box? On a side note, is the Ferret gonna make a comeback in the new vehicle lines? God I loved that toy.... and my Tomax and Xamot figures need one.

A limited run would add intrinsic value to offset the price tag that I think would be $225 - $300.
I would definitely open mine... probably in the parking lot! We all remember that picture of the Target bandit, the guy that bought 10 cases of Wave 7 and draped them all around his car. Well imagine a FLAGG across the back seat, Terror Dome in the front seat and the Defiant on the roof of the car. YUP, right there in the parking lot!!! |

Oh I would take a Flagg, In fact I got some buds that would go in with me to get one. So I wouldn't have to pay full price, but I am sure it would saty at my place since I have 7+ feet to spare. Oh yes, and a terror drome would be nice too. I mean why would Hasbro make a firebat without the drome?? Doesn't make a bit of sense to me.

I don't want it. To big and a waste of space on the sales floor. They need to spend time making new molds for figures and not repainting them.

'Limited' would probably be the only way they'd do it, if they did, which they won't...As my roommate often says, the 80's was the age of decadence, buying these big extreme playsets you didn't need. No matter how popular (or unpopular) a toy line was, it had a playset for it. They're never going to do stuff like that again, unless the economy improves some, and regular folks, not just collectors, have extra cash to spoil the heck out of their kids and get them something like that.
