I wonder what kind of warping would happen with these new card backs. They seem a bit thinner. Could they be getting this damage from the heat of shipping? I'm seeing a lot of warp carded figs lately.

The Batman went to a Wally today and they had 2 revisions cases on the shelf. I'll be danged if the KG BEAST had beaten me there and bent up about 6 Joes. We're not talking about slight creases, we are talking some 90 degree bends that would cause space between it and the next figure. If the distributor is bending the cards when they pack them, this is gonna be a real problem for us that like to keep a few MOC's.

hahaha. I was on the second page of this thread when I knew whatever my response was would involve a picture of Bender. You beat me to it, but with a far better picture than I would have drawn up. Well played, sir.

This might not mean much... but I used to work at a toy store and the stock we got first went to a distribution center to get price tags put on them. When the 95 Star Wars figures came out we had a lot of angry collectors upset that the bubbles came scratched. Turned out our distribution center was opening the cases, putting the store's price tag on them, then returning them in all sorts of states and fashions to the cases. Every time they left out the thin tissue paper, then friction from the journey created scratched bubbles.
(Plus the distribution center was re-packing the Star Wars so that one case had all the C3P0's in one box, then the department manager would save them for his buddies. (For some reason Threepio was one of the most sought after figures of that line, next to Leah.) Anyway... I'm not sure what TRU does... but it might be the same thing... careless employees who don't care about MOC toys.
