Check this guys site out....he created it to sell his collection.
A Two Bro's Joes Collection - Welcome I would love a computer based program like this to keep inventory of my collection. That way everything that I have would be easy to organize...right now I have a few excel documents....but nothing like this. Someone should create something like this!! What do you guys think?? Would you have a need for something like this? |

I think that would be pretty cool, if it were easy to update.
It kinda looks like they lost steam on the project.

I have everything on one excel spreadsheet, figures, vehicles, filecards, boxes, everything. It tracks my current collection and how far I am from my goals. And I have 3 separate columns to track the value of my collection. One column is the last issue of Lee's Toy Review, one column is from The Ultimate Guide and the last column is curent market based on what I see and hear about on the forums, ebay and other places. Its a good comparison to see how things match up. Its mostly for my own entertainment and organization but it would also serve for insurance purposes.
Putting my list online would be cool, but I havent seen a place user-friendly and organized enough to do it. Last edited by Python Viper; 11-17-2011 at 10:06 AM.. |

I had an Access database that did this but lost it in an epic computer crash back in 2002...
I contacted YoJoe.com about two years ago asking if I could use their images for a web-based collection management system or if they would be interested in having a system built and integrated into YoJoe.com. And nothing. No response. |

I have a light box ready to go to make images, just need someone with programing know how. I would need help with packaged images, only to aim for consistancy, but those are pretty plentiful online. I'll call my friend Kick though and see if he or Zeke know anything about docking bay

Yeah I actually posted this but my title thread only said G. He wants help from us. So please PM me if you can help with lists and Pics
Hey guys, I just got an email from 3 brothers, the guys who are designing the collectors app on iPods and iPads. He needs our help with putting together a proper collection with pics, so let me know if you guys have some time to contribute some joes, I know we use Generalsjoes and yojoe. This is his email to me, it's a simple formula and I think we can do it. Who's with me? "LL27, I have an excel spreadsheet up in google docs that is the formatting for the data for these apps - essentially there are 4 columns: Figure Name Wave Set Image Name Figure Number Pretty straight forward. If you could start working up a list of figures I'm missing and either add them to a google document (or email me the excel sheet), I can work on converting the data to be compatible with the app... in addition, if you can pull the images for me, I could pop those in, too. Think you would be able to help? Zack" |
