I can tell you guys one thing, a friend of mine was hounded by AFA to get his toys graded for a higher resale value. He kept refusing then finally to get his business they told him to submit the figures and let them know what grade he wanted to be. He cut them off for good at that point. Also CloudCity and AFA are the same company so there seems to be a conflict of interest.
I would not trust them. -R

Wow those cases are exactly like the ones AFA uses... Is there anyone here that has these in use on a 25th figure and would be willing to share a picture with me? Thanks for the heads up on these they look excellent and much more inexpensive.

I'm a grown man who believes in Santa and the Easter Bunny, but I don't believe in the AFA.

In AFA's defense though, someone's gotta be buying these. . .or sites like Cloud City and Brian's Toys would totally go under. Where are all these Joe fans who're snapping up the graded figs left and right? I have a mailer from Brian's Toys stating they recently constructed a 5000 square foot addition to their office/warehouse.
HELLO?!?? I used to work in high-end cabinetry and that's some serious cheese they're making. One would then assume that circulation of AFA figures would be intense. SW collectors couldn't be that dumb. . .right? -PJ |
