I just figured out I will be in Rhode Island at the end of November for work and I was wondering if anyone knows if Hasbro has facility/museum type tours on a regular basis. I sent them a question about it through Hasbro.com. It would be cool to see the facilities or anything at all while I am there.

I don't think so. When the Con was there, one of the big events was a Hasbro tour.

That would be cool to have a Hasbro tour. What I'd really like to tour is one of the factories in China where the figures are actually made.

I'd just like to see the whole process of how the figure is made and packaged. Since they aren't made in America, I doubt this would ever be shown on the "Made in America" series. I saw how they make Gibson guitars one time, and that was cool.
Have you seen the process for action figures?

Sadly no tours, no store, no access of any kind other than driving through their parking lot. I was up there a year ago on business and decided to swing by after my conference had ended before driving home. I called when i arrived and spoke with someone in the public affairs office and she sadly explained that they were not open to the public.
They do have some sort of employee store but that isn't open to general public either. |
